Make sure this is the same symptom

  • The part requires soldering and has already been cleaned.
  • The dirt-removed indicator reads 100%.
  • The solder paths remain white rather than changing to the active blue state.
  • Clicking or tracing the white guides does not advance the repair.

If the part is still dirty, missing, or not selected, solve that state first. A similar-looking line is not proof of the same bug.

Safe check order

  1. Update the game. Confirm v1.0.009r or later before comparing your state with the current report.
  2. Capture the blocked state. Record the part, mode, order, dirt percentage, and white guides.
  3. Place the part on the table. Do not discard it or move it to trash.
  4. Pick the same part up again. Check whether the guides turn blue and become interactive.
  5. Finish soldering before storage. If the workaround succeeds, complete the required soldering before returning the part to the parts box.
  6. Stop after one controlled retry. If nothing changes, preserve the save and report the reproducible sequence.

Why the sonic bath matters

The official v1.0.009r notes say some gadgets stuck in the sonic bath were fixed. A separate Aug 12 player report describes a different interaction: a sonic-bath-cleaned, solder-required part may appear dirty again after being put into the parts box. The patch announcement does not claim to address that specific storage-and-soldering sequence.

When to stop troubleshooting

Stop before discarding the part, cancelling an important order, or overwriting your only save. A useful report includes the game version, mode, device, part name, cleaning method, whether it entered the parts box, and a screenshot showing the white guides at 100% clean.
