Information processed when you visit
The hosting service may process standard request information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as an IP address, requested page, time, browser, device, and error information. ReStory Fix does not provide user accounts, comments, purchases, or a contact form, so it does not ask visitors to create a profile or submit a game save.
Google Analytics
When site measurement is enabled, ReStory Fix uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, traffic sources, device categories, and interactions such as guide or video clicks. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers and sends measurement information to Google for processing. ReStory Fix uses these reports in aggregate to improve navigation and decide which problems need clearer guides.

Video and external content
The homepage shows an image and link for an official YouTube trailer. The embedded player is not loaded until you choose to play it; playback uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain. Playing the video or opening YouTube allows Google and YouTube to process the interaction under their own policies.
Local browser tools
The microphone diagnostic and pack-structure checker run in your browser. Audio recordings and selected filenames are not uploaded by those tools. Closing or reloading the page clears their temporary working state unless your browser keeps its own permission choice.
Cookies, advertising, and consent
Analytics and external providers may use cookies or local storage. If ReStory Fix begins serving Google ads, this page will identify the advertising service, explain advertising cookies and choices, and the site will use an appropriate consent solution where required. Google requires a certified consent-management platform for personalized ads served in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland; that advertising setup is not active today.
External links
Guides link to Steam, itch.io, YouTube, Discord-related resources, community discussions, and other third-party sites. Their privacy practices apply after you leave ReStory Fix. A link is a source or convenience, not control over that external site.
Children and sensitive information
This is a general game-guide site and is not designed to collect sensitive personal information. Do not submit passwords, account details, private save files, recordings, or identifying information through unofficial channels.
